| | Venturing out into an unknownJuly 13, 2011 - Eddie KokoMy friend Scott and I have been trying to think of some ways to make money on the side while having fun for about 10 years now. It usually rotates in cycles of 2 or 3 years between ideas, which always seem to occur in these summer months (with the exception of a small show we put together in high school called Efrem). Well it's that time again, and this time I actually think this one can work. I'm not going to go into details just yet, but very soon I hope to be able to start getting some details out. But those schemes always involved a lot of creative process. The last time, we started a comic book up (Pink Lemonade), and it was our best effort by far. It wasn't easy trying to work around each others schedules...well his, I was laid off at the time, but we got about 2 months in before ideas just stopped. The story seemed to get stuck, and we had no idea where to take it. We had a great beginning book (I think we did), a jumbled 2nd and a good 3rd. But after that it just turned into a creative balloon that deflated very steadily. But now we are here. Ready to venture into something we both know but we don't. Where it will take us is up to you guys to decide. I'll be blogging more about this in the next 2 months or so before we launch. As long as you guys n gals enjoy my blogs and useless information I contain, I think it will work out. Especially now that we will have 3 (or 4) of us on board this time, it should be a nice mixture and bring in many, many interests.
